This week something properly strange happened in the UK… rays of bright light shone from the sky, turning the scenery ‘dry’ and the atmosphere ‘warm’. Could the British winter finally be over? Will 2016 actually include summer?! History would suggest otherwise, but for the time being we’ll take full advantage of the glorious weather right now!
By mid-April the UK Show Season is in full swing, with multiple events including Early Edition, Japfest and GTI Spring Festival all taking place within the next week. That can only mean it’s time to bring the show car out of hibernation or simply show some love to your daily hack! Let’s take a look at the #MeguiarsUK hashtag and see what you car care fanatics have been upto…
‘No filter needed!’ explains Nick James, fresh after coating his Mini Cooper with a coat of Meguiar’s Liquid Wax. You know a reflection is good when it turns your black car transparent!
It’s easy to overlook the details on your car after perfecting its paintwork, but Day Hall’s Rotiform wheels get equal measures of Meguiar’s love as the rest of the car! Follow his Instagram feed @ www.instagram.com/slammeduk_day for more awesome shots of this aired-out Mini.
#ThrowbackThursday from Alex Rogers going back to Ultimate Dubs with his immaculate VW Polo on the Riiva Design stand. Telford International Centre is heavily lit as you’d expect from an indoor show, meaning any paint imperfections are going to be highlighted. Not a problem for Alex when your car is prepped this well!
Dan Lambert’s Citroen DS3 Racing is a proper hot hatch – packing a 200bhp 4-cylinder turbo motor under the bonnet along with bucket seats and Brembo brakes as standard. Freshly waxed & ready for a trip down to Ace Cafe, Dan’s Citroen looks seriously cool slammed on the OEM wheels.
A fresh new look for the Reflex Autodesign Caddy, now sporting urban camo graphics and seriously cool 1552 Tarmac alloys. Best of all, the Reflex Caddy still gets used as a proper work horse – talk about arriving in style!
