Despite being separated by nearly 6000-miles, it’s safe to say the UK is completely and utterly obsessed with Japanese car culture, and you know what? That really isn’t a bad thing!

Ever since the early 90s Japanese car culture has been prolific in the UK, and in 2018 it’s more diverse than ever before. From obscure classics like the Toyota Cressida to the latest supercar-slaying Honda NSX, every aspect of JDM car culture is catered for and it isn’t showing any signs of slowing down either…

Firmly established as Europe’s largest Japanese car event, Japfest has been a staple in the show diary for nearly 20 years – previously taking over Castle Combe’s race circuit and more recently taking hold of Silverstone Circuit. In fact, for 2018 the size of Japfest had grown so much it now covers welcomes in excess of 4000 show cars and 18000 guests!

Japanese car fans are some of the most enthusiastic and dedicated around, and Meguiar’s UK were hugely proud to display at this year’s show with a range of super-cool cars on the stand, not least Danny Coe’s barn-find Evo 8 which we’ll be bringing you a full blog post on very soon. Check out our gallery from this year’s event below, and if you didn’t make it across there’s always Japfest 2 @ Donnington on the 30th June.
