Earlier in the month Meguiar’s UK had the terrible task of traveling all the way to Las Vegas for the annual SEMA Show. For those unaware, SEMA is to car fans what the Grand National is to alcoholics horse racing fans. It’s the crème de la crème of tuning – if you’re not exhibiting at SEMA, can you really call yourself a dedicated detailing company?

In case you missed Part 1 of our coverage here, Meguiar’s UK is proud to be one of the longest-standing traders in SEMA history. Not only does it give us a prime retail spot within the show halls, but it also means we can equip many of the stunning show cars with Meguiar’s product to ensure their paintwork remains flawless throughout the week.

Shows like this kick up a lot of dust, and a lot of sticky fingers (despite an abundance of ‘do not touch’ signs) so premium car care purely throughout the show has become an essential task at SEMA.

Detailing aside, one of our favourite aspects of SEMA is the weird, wild and wacky machinery that seemingly pops up out of nowhere. Vegas is a wild place, make no mistake about that, but some of the creations spotted at the convention centre during SEMA take Vegas madness to a whole new level!

For Part 2 of our SEMA coverage, we’ve cherry picked exactly those sort of machines guaranteed to leave you 1: speechless, 2: gawping in awe and 3: a tiny little bit confused. Embrace the madness, and let us know what you think in the comments section below…
