Japanese car culture is BIG news in the UK. Over the past two decades it’s safe to say Britain has developed a serious love affair with JDM culture, representing just about every era and marque imaginable. We’re talking about Skyline GT-Rs, four-door drift cars, classic Celica Supras and even the odd Kei car. So where does a nation of JDM fans come to celebrate this? Japshow @ Santa Pod Raceway…

July is already shaping up to be a busy month for Meguiar’s, with a range of events including the TR Register, Wax Stock and Classics On The Common taking place every weekend. But we’re big fans of Japanese cars here at Meguiar’s, and on the 10th July we’ll be heading across to Santa Pod for the annual Japshow event.

Santa Pod is one of the ‘old trusty’ locations on the UK show calendar. Centered around the 1/4-mile drag strip (originally used as an airfield during World War 2), Santa Pod has the facilities to bring together non-stop racing, traders and thousands of car clubs all under one venue. There’s even a dedicated Drift What Ya Brung track towards the top of the track!

Despite being a one-day devent, Japshow always attracts a gigantic crowd and we’ll be taking the Meguiar’s stand along complete with all the latest detailing goodies for punters to try and buy on the day. Whether you consider yourself a bit of a pro or a complete novice, come visit the Meguiar’s stand and we’ll show you exactly what you need for a quick and easy paint finish.
