There’s a good chance you’re reading this blog post using either your laptop, smartphone or digital tablet. In fact, is there any other way of doing so?! The point we’re trying to make is, technology is a pretty good thing in 2018. Whether you’re using it to order a takeaway or catch-up on all your favourite Meguiar’s UK YouTube videos, there’s no denying modern technology has revolutionized the world in quite a short period of time.

There’s also a solid chance you’ve never experienced a world without this technology at your fingertips. But what happens if you wanted to throw away the iPhone and hark back to a time where a tweet was something you sent out, and a friend request meant actually meeting in real life. Well, there’s always Goodwood Revival…

Since 1998 Goodwood Revival has taken over Goodwood Circuit every September, and the way it presents itself is unlike any other event on the calendar. And that’s because everything at Revival – from the cars competing to the clothing being worn – is taken straight from the 1950s and 1960s, otherwise known as the golden era of motorsport.

That’s right, your latest pair of Yeezys have no place here… unless they’re reminiscent of 60-year-old footwear (give it time). In fact, even those traders attending are required to present themselves in period-correct attire! Naturally Meguiar’s are more than happy to oblige given our 100+ year history which allows us to use branding and items genuinely used by Meguiar’s in the 50s and 60s.

To say Goodwood Revival is unique is one hell of an understatement, but in a sea of traditional events it feels like a proper treat to get dressed up and pretend its the early days all over again. Thankfully, cameras aren’t banned… so you can enjoy a full gallery AND film from Meguiar’s UK below. Enjoy!
