Building a project car – or simply refreshing an old one – can be a time consuming and stressful exercise… and that’s providing everything arrives on time! The reality is a lot more last-minute than that as bespoke wheels, paintwork and fabrication will always take its toll on deadlines. Want custom work? Expect that to push the time constraints even further.

With all this in mind, Meguiar’s UK is proud to offer a helping hand for those owners looking to achieve paintwork perfection during the run up to key shows. All too often we’ve seen last-minute builds arrive at shows lacking that initial ‘punch’ only achieved with a proper paintwork correction. Well not anymore…

No job is too big or small for Meguiar’s UK. Our Detailing Bay is the perfect environment to achieve show-winning results, and more importantly it gives us a chance to showcase the results achievable using nothing but consumer products from the Meguiar’s UK range. No witchcraft, no professional-only products, just off-the-shelf Meguiar’s with a bit of elbow grease!

Players Classic is one of the biggest and best events of the year, taking over the hallowed Goodwood Circuit for a day of celebrating all things car culture. As you’d expect this brings with it a massive selection of show cars preparing themselves for the show & shine, so understandably the Meguiar’s Detailing Bay has been a tad busier than usual this week.

In fact we’ve had multiple cars in the detailing bay every day for the past week, ranging from the Regal Autosport Mk7 Golf R Track Car right through to Dwane’s aired-out Vauxhall Adam. Each car has brought with it a range of challenges and obstacles ranging from paint correction to removing tar and tyre material from regular track use. None have been too big a challenge for Meguiar’s UK though!

Heading to Players Classic tomorrow? Make sure you head over to the Meguiar’s stand to see some of these awesome cars gleaming in the sunshine, and if you’re unable to get down stay tuned to the blog for full galleries and spotlights next week.
