Las Vegas, famous for gambling and big nights out. When you see the Hangover film series it doesn’t exactly scream car culture but there’s something else Sin City is famous for with car fans, SEMA show.

For roughly a week once a year the Las Vegas Convention Centre is home to 2,300 exhibitors and 150,000 attendees. It’s been going for more than 50 years now and is a firm fixture in the US car builders calendar.

Meguiar’s has been a long-term supporter of SEMA (short for Specialty Equipment Market Association) and as you’d expect we always aim to turn up with a spectacular stand complete with jaw-dropping display cars and the latest products. This year a sublime 1926 Ford Roadster took centre stage on the booth. With a host of custom details this is a car that deserves the spotlight all to itself so we’ll bring you a spotlight on this car later in the week.

What SEMA such an awesome venue is the sheer variety of cars, tuners and manufacturers from around the globe to represent all the best aspects of car tuning from every ‘scene’ imaginable. It’s one of the first places where manufacturers embraced the aftermarket and you’ll see highly modified one off projects from the worlds largest manufacturers.

Of course, being an American show American muscle and domestic rides are a prominent SEMA staple. You’ll also find a raft of huge lifted trucks and off road vehicles, but in between the excess you’ll also find subtle gems too. This is a huge part of the show’s attraction.

Stick with us through the week as we bring you some incredible builds from this year’s show.
